So...again it's been a while.
But I have lots positivity to share.
I landed my dream job in May. The only thing that could make it better would be for it to be less than 40 mile from my house. But I have learned that it is better to do what you love and commute; than to do what you don't love close by!
I almost cried when they made me the offer and people keep asking the proverbial question: "so how do you like it?" and I say "I love it!" and they say "yeah let's see what you say in 6 months" and I say "I'll say the same thing! I'm doing the work that I love to do!"
BTW...I'm a trainer out of the Corporate office of the Detroit Medical Center.
Until next time...

Happy New Year!
So…I’m a bit late :-) anyone who knows me knows that is usually the case!
I see the importance in reminding myself what my mantra is…as I have failed to post I can feel my enthusiasm fading. I’m going to re-commit to my cause of living a happy, peaceful, loving life!
And so I continue…

Learn to Look in the Mirror
"[Live Life, Laugh Loud & Learn Love] those are the ingredients to a healthy person." A quote from my cousin, Kimberly Harris-Macklin.
I may have considered this validation to be flattery, however, after she gave me the quote that has added so much to my life: "They always tell you about the rock and the hard place; but they never tell you about the mirror in the middle;" I can accept the complement for what it is worth.
I have learned that this sentiment is worth adopting...it helps shape the prospective in which you see things. It's so easy to blame those around you (or anyone else, for that matter) when things don't go as you wish or plan; but to acknowledge your own contribution to the mishap takes a high level of emotional intelligence; to change your behavior to prevent the same results, is a miracle. Simply put, it takes a extraordinary person.

Day 1
I have just made a commitment to do as the title of my blog implies: Live Life, Laugh Loud & Learn Love. It's NOT a resolution, because as we all know those are made to be broken, It's more of a mantra, words to live by. I think I will approach this new journey as many do who are quiting some type of habit...one day at a time.
